SNOW, James L. “Jim” Obituary, Death: In Remembrance Of Cherish Resident

James L. “Jim” Snow of Dorchester peacefully passed away on March 16, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Anne Marie (Hurley) Snow and a devoted father to Jeannette M. Gaughan and her husband Richard of Braintree, and Matthew J. Snow of Dorchester. Jim was a cherished grandfather to Cameron J. Gaughan, Rylan Gaughan, and Nora Snow.

He is also survived by his siblings: Jean Marcella and her late husband Paul of Kingston, Robert Snow and his wife Doreen of Belfast, ME, Eileen Martin and her late husband Christopher of Wareham, William Snow and his wife Linda of Whitman, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his sister Elizabeth “Liz” Snow.

Visiting hours will be held at the John J. O’Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St. (Adams Village), Dorchester, on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park.

Jim Snow will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his warmth, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
