Landon Isaiah Jackson Death Obituary- Clarksburg, West Virginia Crash

Authorities in Clarksburg, West Virginia are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred early Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of Landon Isaiah Jackson, age 16. The incident took place just before 4:00 a.m. along U.S. Route 19 in the Edgewood Addition area.

According to preliminary findings, Jackson was operating a Honda SUV when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a railroad bridge support. First responders arriving at the scene confirmed he was deceased. No other occupants were present in the vehicle, and no additional vehicles were involved.

Investigators have indicated that the crash appears to be isolated, with no evidence of foul play at this time. The circumstances leading to the vehicle departing the roadway remain under review.

Jackson, born May 10, 2009, in Buckhannon, West Virginia, was a resident of Clarksburg. He was homeschooled and also attended classes at United Technical Center. He was employed at Bridgeport Public Library, where he was described as reliable and courteous.

He is survived by immediate and extended family members. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life service scheduled at Horizons Church.
