Mohammad M. Alamin Obituary, StockPort Crash Accident Hudson ROLLOVER NEAR ROUTE 9
A fatal motor vehicle crash in Stockport on the night of March 18 has claimed the life of Mohammad M. Alamin, 26, a resident of Hudson.
Investigators with the New York State Police reported that the crash occurred shortly after 10:00 p.m. on State Route 9. The vehicle, a 2002 Ford traveling southbound, reportedly veered off the roadway, struck a guide rail, crossed into the opposite lane, and ultimately collided with a tree before overturning.
Alamin was the only individual in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials have indicated that the cause of the crash remains under investigation, with no definitive determination yet regarding contributing factors.
Emergency crews temporarily closed Route 9 in Columbia County while the scene was examined. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation continues to review evidence in an effort to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
